The Bangladeshi motorbikes market is dominated by commuting bicycles, followed by sports bikes and people who need to ride a bike. The range of cruiser motorcycles in Bangladesh is growing slowly. Today, we present to you Suzuki Intruder150. It is a new cruiser from Suzuki.
In Bangladesh, Suzuki Intruder ABS (April 2018) was delivered. The motorcycle has received a lot of interest and market share since that time. While they provided the ABS and Fi versions of the motorcycles, we can share information about the ABS and Non-Fi models.
Engine
For the engine, Suzuki Intruder in Bangladesh is available equipped with the Suzuki Gixxer engine. The engine produces 14.6BHP @ 8,000 pm and 14 Nm torque @ 6,600 rpm. The single-cylinder 155cc motor is air-cooled and uses an engine carburetor to remove the fuel from the engine. The bike has a self-starter and no kick start.
There are a few situations where the bike’s vibration kicks off at 7000 RPM. This speed is easy to identify. This is an advantage for those who would like to be ready to go on their cruiser bikes! This was even more impressive when we checked out Suzuki Gixxer. I was blown away to discover that they did not detune the engine and instead saved the same pickup for an instant.
Some features
It comes with a halogen front light, a muscular gasoline tank, and a speedometer borrowed from Gixxer. For a start, it may feel a little uncomfortable. But, once you get to ride it for three to four days, you will be comfortable.
I especially like the twin exhaust. It is vast and takes up much of the right-hand area of the motorcycle. But, if you look at it from far away, it seems incredible. Although it has a low riding performance, the bike looks great.
Design is always subjective. The intruder is designed to stand out, many feel it’s overdone. The intruder is not a hit with older riders. Aimed at Indian youth, the bike is sure to grab eyeballs.
Cruisers are already a high-selling segment of the Indian automotive industry and luckily for Suzuki, there are not that many options. The puny-sized engine ensures affordability which is the Intruder’s biggest selling point against the heavier and pricier Dominars and Enfields.
Despite looking like a cruiser this bike is surprisingly agile and perfect for daily commute. Even cruisers need to do that well to succeed in the Indian market.
The instrument console on the Intruder is the same unit used on the Gixxer with a digital speedometer, digital odometer, digital tachometer along with trip meter, and a digital fuel gauge.
The bike has you covered on the safety front with a single channel ABS at the front. This is more than adequate for a 155 cc. Visibility in the dark and fog is also good thanks to an all-LED headlight, taillight, and turn signals. The standard alloys and tubeless tires are also available. For better grip, Suzuki has gone with radial tyres. Engine refinement is decent, keeping with other Suzuki products. There are no vibrations felt even with higher revs.
The parking mild was a halogen light bulb with an LED projection under it. The headlight illumination was suitable for highway use, and the LED taillight has also been preserved in a significant role so that your car could see you once you brake.
Brakes and suspensions as well as wheels
Suzuki included a 260 mm front brake with available channels ABS to its motorcycle. This becomes crucial when you use excessive-velocity brakes. The motorbike’s control when braking is 100% thanks to the front ABS. A standard feature was also a 220mm rear disc brake.
Suspension aware, the front telescopic suspension is suitable for their paintings, and the rear mono surprise suspension connected to the swing arm makes their paintings look great. The rear suspension has a softer side and is better at absorbing the bumps in Bangladesh.
Suzuki supplied 100 segments of the front tire and a hundred-and-fifty section rear tire. Even though you may not be able to corner this motorbike, its longer wheelbase and 140 sections rear tire make it possible.
Flexibility
You might have to be careful when riding the motorcycle around Dhaka. Because the bike has a smaller turning radius than other commuting bikes, it is difficult to change direction quickly. I agree that the people who buy this will be disadvantaged in a way that is not right.
Intruder stock the same engine, chassis, and suspensions as Gixxer. Although the bike’s frame is beautiful, it has too many parts. So finding & shopping for the spare technical elements won’t be too difficult. Despite all these things, the motorcycle still weighs 148 Kg, which is suitable for this segment.
It is an only problem with the motorcycle. Although I believe it makes the unique bike layout wise, I could still choose for the handlebar to be bent more in the right direction of the rider instead of being a straight unit.
Because there are not many options in Bangladesh, we have the top 2-three cruiser motorcycles on our market. Suzuki Intruder is an excellent choice for cruiser fans looking to enjoy their system on the dual carriageway. It also makes an outstanding weekend ride.
