Unless you live beneath a rock, the New Suzuki Gixxer is something you already know. This is the new official Suzuki bike available in Bangladesh. The bike was loaded with hopes, dreams, features, and curiosity. This bike has been attracting attention since its inception. It can easily be described as one of 2020’s most anticipated bikes.

Suzuki Gixxer has been present in South Asian markets since 2014. Even though it wasn’t the best bike, the Suzuki Gixxer is respected by all riders. Engine and Transmission:

The New Suzuki Gixxer comes with a 4-stroke, single cylinder engine and 154.9cc. The engine is air-cooled with two valves, SOHC and comes equipped with an oil cooler. You can choose between fuel-injected or carbureted versions of the bike. Both variants produce 14.1BHP and 14 Nm of power at 8000rpm. The bike is controlled the same way as the previous model. The bike is expected at a fuel efficiency between 35/40kmpl (carb/FI span)

The New Suzuki Gixxer has an essential wet multiplate clutch. The bike comes with a 5-speed gearbox. This is understandable given the bike’s power. For this bike, however, a 6-speed gearbox would be better.

Brakes, Suspensions, and Wheels:

The New Suzuki Gixxer also has brakes. The brakes have a dual-disc system. The ABS model gets the bike, while the carb version gets a primary front stop. The rear brake, which is also suitable for both FI and carb versions of the bike, is equally effective. The disc brakes at the rear are very suitable.

The New Suzuki Gixxer is equipped with telescopic rear forks. The front forks are oil dampened and have coil-springs. The front suspension is slightly stiff. This could pose a problem in the city commutes in Bangladesh. The rear suspension has a mono-shock swingarm-based monoshock system, which should perform well.

Cast alloy wheels come standard on the New Suzuki Gixxer. Both the front wheel and rear have 100/80, 140/60 section tires. The wider rear tire makes cornering easier and more confident. The front wheel balances perfectly with the rear.
